62 years ago, The Margaritelli family began the cultivation of the Fointaines Forest in Burgandy France. The vision was simple. The development of a forest-to-floor process with a focus on renewal and sustainability. Since then, the company has achieved the highest standard in responsible forest management - FSC Certified.

The Forest Stewardship Council extends designation and label to companies that meet these standards: 1) Zero deforestation policy, 2) offering fair wages and work environment, 3) protecting the local ecosystem through conservation efforts and 4) engaging the local communities and making them apart of the stakeholder process.
